Information collected by the Toronto Association of Law Libraries is for the administration of the association or for the provision and development of services to members. We will not release or sell members’ information to third parties without express permission from the member.
By paying to become a member of the association, members implicitly give permission for their professional contact information to be made available to TALL on the Member Services Web site, unless a member requests exclusion from the directory by contacting the Administrative Co-Ordinator directly.
By agreeing to participate in TALL's governance structure (including committee participation, standing for election, etc.), members further give implicit permission for personal names and places of employment to be made available openly on the public internet site.
If the Executive determines that information should be collected from Website visitors, this policy will be republished as amended on this site, and the TALL membership will be notified separately.
If information collected from the membership is to be used for purposes other than for internal association communication, this policy will be republished as amended on this site, and the TALL membership will be notified separately.
Questions about privacy should be referred to the President of the Association. Requests to review or correct information should go to the Administrative Co-Ordinator.
